Had a great weekend in Canberra last weekend although where we stayed was a little disappointing. Won't be stayin there again! The beds were really bad, so hard! Neither T or I slept well and we were so stiff and sore by Sunday! Took Friday afternoon to drive down and got there about 6.30pm. Checked in, unloaded the ute and went to our favourite fish and chips shop to get dinner. We also did some grocery shopping. Saturday was spent at the Polit Baronial Championship which was awesome - caught up with friends and met some new people. Everyone made us feel so welcome - it was lovely! T is even thinking about becoming a heavy fighter now! Drove around later in the afternoon to source some places to go next time we visit Canberra. Packed up Sunday morning, checked out and then spent 4 hours walking around the War Memorial. They had some new displays since we were there last in 2006 - the boys love it - it is an awesome place. I always feel very emotional when I go there even though I have been lucky enough not to lose anyone I know in war. I just find the whole thing very overwhelming. T bought me a limited edition 'Digger Bear' which is gorgeous and some of the funds go to the RSL. I hurt my foot again a little on Saturday afternoon (got out of the ute wrong) and it has been playing up something shocking this week - it's making lovely cracking noises and is starting to bruise again - the joys of it all! I am back on pain killers again which I haven't had to take for about 6 weeks - such is life. I know there are a lot of people worse off than me so I should not complain.
T is in Bourke tonight for work - he is hoping to be home tomorrow night. I have been playing WoW and am nearly tired enough to attempt sleep! I never sleep well on my own - I usually go to sleep with the TV on as that is usually what T does when he tries to get to sleep ;-) I am so used to the noise!
This weekend is target archery (IKAC), DVD and pizza night and Tourney of the Yellow Rose. The following weekend I am going to have a quiet one! Yeah right ;-)

I couldn't go Monday 'cause it was a public holiday, and yesterday I had D with me. I need to drop my car in to get new tyres (they are really bad - nearly 5 years old though) and a wheel alignment. That will take a couple of hours so I thought I would go to the gym and have a wander around the shops.

Only 3 more sleeps to go until the big day. Everyone is counting down and getting excited, including the boys!

K & Ps dog Jess cut her ear on something on Monday and we think she nicked a vein at the tip of her ear. Took forever to stop it bleeding (she is a boxer cross ridgeback). Beautifyl natured dog, and clumsy! The worst part was she kept shaking her head which splattered blood everywhere! I spent some time yesterday with the sugar soap cleaning the windows and the side of the house ;-)

Anyhow, better get organised and head into town!

We went down to the spot where Kristy and Pete would like their wedding photos done. Took a few snap shots and ended up with one they love. The comment was 'that's the best photo we have ever seen of us'. Now I am feeling not so nervous and looking forward to happy snapping on the weekend. Only four more sleeps to go!! *squeeeee*

to wear to my niece's wedding on the 11 October. I just have some hand sewing including the hems to go. I'm off work this week (no, I am not sick again - on holidays) so it won't be a problem to get done. I took a photo of the wedding cake my mum is decorating for them too. Both Kristy and Pete love it.

Went back to the doctors today - had my hayfever injection and got another 2 lots of prescription drops for my eyes. One is steroid based that I can only use for three days, the other is for the rest of the season. My eyes are really bad, actually I don't think I have ever had them this bad. The left one is so swollen under the lid it touches my eyeball and drives me insane. The worst part is nothing relieves it - the drops give relief for about half an hour and then it flares up again. The worst part is I am on the strongest stuff they can give me. It's a case of I will just have to put up with it. Man that sux!

Working in a newsagents on a Thursday night and Saturday when I was in high school.

A white 1968 6 cylinder HK Kingswood. Cool car until some person wrote it off by crashing into it whilst it was parked on the street.

No-one yet.

[7] Who is the FIRST person you thought of this morning?
My husband as he snuggled into me whilst I was trying to get out of bed!

Can’t remember her name – Miss McKeowan I think. She was nice though.

[9] Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
On a joyflight in a cesna at Bullen’s Animal World (which has now been closed for many years).

[10] Who was your FIRST best friend and are you still friends with them?
I didn’t have many friends at school so high school before I had a best friend. We are friends as we haven’t had a fight or anything but she stopped writing and I haven’t seen her for years. Not sure if she even still lives where I saw her last.

Cricket with family.

[12] Where was your FIRST sleep over?
At a friend’s house when I was about 7 (three doors down from where I lived).

My 10 year old son.

I was flower girl for my mum’s sister when I was about 2 or 3.

Got out of bed.

A-Ha when I was 16.

Ears when I was 12 (boy did that take some convincing to let me do), then a second lot when I was 18. No tattoos – yet!

Haven’t been overseas *sigh*

A speeding ticket when I was 18 (only one I might add!)
